Description: |
April of 2014 will mark seven years since Czechia formally joined the European Southern Observatory.
This workshop is dedicated to the research achievements and exciting new opportunities at the European Southern Observatory (ESO) in the light of this milestone. This workshop will include presentations by invited speakers from ESO and it will also provide an opportunity for Czech astronomers to exchange ideas with Czech and ESO colleagues. Astronomers working in Czechia are encouraged to present their work that has made use of ESO. We especially encourage an increased involvement of Czech astronomers within ESO, particularly students and early-career researchers.
