| Abstract: | The goal of this course (as well as the follow-up course Elements of astronomy 2) is to provide basic background in astronomy required for advanced courses in astronomy and astrophysics. This course is designed especially for students without any background in astronomy. It is suitable either for students decided for any astrophysics study programme or for those who just want to improve their general knowledge and utilize it in another fields, e.g. an education. | ||
