It takes about 90 minutes from Vienna and 150 minutes from Prague to reach Brno. ACCOMMODATION: We have booked 8 double rooms at The Kounicova Halls of Residence. It is about five minutes from the institute and costs 830 CZK per night. If someone wants to stay at the Hotel Continental , we can book rooms for about 50 Euros a night including a breakfast. Of course, feel free to book any other hotel/apartment. At this time of the year, it is quite cheap. LUNCH: There is a mensa at the campus and several cheap restaurants in the vicinity of the institute. EQUIPMENT: If you have a laptop on which IRAF is installed (Linux or Windows 10) it would be perfect. SOCIAL EVENT When we know how many people will attend, we will organise either a dinner or a tour through Brno, for example.
